Creating communication solutions can be hard. There are so many choices. That's why we provide you with a free LITE version for both Apple and Android mobiles, for professionals a free lifetime demonstrator 'workspace' account (our on-line authoring tool), and for individuals a free 30-day trial of 'workspace'. If you like what you see check out our paid mobile apps and on-line authoring plans.
We have been doing this since the beginning of the modern AAC device era. Just email us and we will get right back to you.
Be inspired. Check out shared ideas from our submissions library or share yours. Inspire others. Gather feedback by emailing on-line, fully-functioning demos of your boards through web-based 'workspace'. Collaborate. Our mobile apps and 'workspace' can work together for everyone to contribute new ideas directly to a board using our patented sync/merge technology.
Author on any apple device, or most any android device, using our mobile apps. Or, using 'workspace' author on any Mac or Windows PC that support Firefox, Chrome, IE or Safari browsers. Collaborate with others all while using different devices. Create boards and have your patients download them to their devices. Your patient can author at the same time as you - and our sync/merge will combine your changes together.
Use boards on apple devices, including Apple TV and Apple Watch, android devices or on the web with the workspace preview feature. Use 1 or 2-switch systems to interact with apple or android devices. Add synthesized voice. Add phrase building language generation and free form typing. Use auditory scanning for those with poor vision.
During the summer, she had her iTouch stolen during camp. We were able to replace the iTouch and simply do a sync that brought back all of her boards! What a blessing!
My son is 26. He has autism and is completely nonverbal. He'll be along soon with his own testimonial. His words are precious and he chooses them carefully. This developer does not assume that all of the users are little kids, or that all facilitators are elementary school teachers. Customizable, Intuitive , Flexible, Affordable, Personal service
WOW! ! I spent 1/2 hour at the SLP office while (son’s name) was in therapy recording the voice stuff that I hadn’t had time to do at the computer. This is great!
My high school son (PDD-Nos) has limited automatic expressive language but good receptive language. He has tried to use another AAC device, but doesn’t take it out because it’s too bulky. MyTalk is exactly what Mike needs. Thanks.
I love MyTalk! I am an OT that has a special certification in assistive technology through RESNA (ATP). I have worked with many, many, many augmentative communication devices and so far am loving what I see with MyTalk. Especially the website Workspace!
I'm a music teacher in a center school for students with severe disabilities. I'm always on the look out for technology that will help students to access curriculum. I love how MyTalk looks on my iPad. The color, the ability to use real pictures, real sound, and then here's the best; students can actually feel the vibration of the sound! Wow multi sensory input. Stay tuned, (no pun intended) to hear about the neat communication and music applications of MyTalk I'm working on. I've only used this once in class and some students who have never shown interest before actually focused!
Just wanted to say thank you very much, both for the workspace and all the advice. I'm hoping to get going with authoring and setting mytalk up to use with some of my students (all of whom have learning difficulties) within the next week or so. From the trial I had I've already had some experience of authoring and genuinely think the product is fantastic and definitely the most easily customisable AAC device I've used to date. I shall of course stay in contact and let you know how we get on. Thanks very much again,
I am amazed how MyTalk has changed one of my student’s attitude toward expressive communication. He is involved in building his boards and takes pictures of his daily routine and surroundings. He touched a picture of his parents, then hit “I want” followed by his phone number to tell me to program their number into his MyTalk.
Thank you! Now that I have been actively building, I needed a refresher and re-watched the YouTube tutorial videos. It is getting easier and faster.
Jake ordered for himself for the first time ever at a restaurant. He is a 7 year old with Angelman syndrome. He chose cheeseburger and I asked him again and he chose it again. : ) I was very happy and he seemed to be as well...the waitress was a little dumbfounded and said, "It doesn't look exactly like that one." Hahaha! Completely missing the point that it doesn't have to look exactly like that one, but Jake knew what it was and it wasn't a cartoon picture of it. I just spent about 3 hours setting up more boards today. I really think this is going to work for him : ) Thanks again for taking the time to build it!
After weeks of the teacher trying to program another ACC device & not getting far, I decided to purchase MyTalk & see if I could get it up and running. In a weekend, I did what the teacher was trying to do over 3+ weeks. MyTalk is simple to use and totally customizable. Delivers exactly what my non-verbal daughter needs. Thank you MyTalk.
You have such a great product, and the price is so reasonable. I love that you offer the Lite version with full authoring capability for free so parents (and professionals) can determine if the program is a good match.
